Moving away from the rustic look of logs, the LR Series features a single-sided display that focuses entirely on a pure, uninterrupted ribbon of holographic flame flickering over a bed of crushed black glass.
Advanced holographic projection technology forms the backbone of the display, which was developed by recording the precise behavior, depth, and color of genuine gas and ethanol fires. This fluid, realistic flame movement is paired with internal reflective side panels that optically stretch the flames across the entire 1,006mm wide glass viewing area, creating a striking illusion of infinite continuity.
With its zero-clearance rating, the LR1000 eliminates the traditional structural limitations of a fireplace. Because the unit requires no flues, external ventilation, or specialized building consents, it can be integrated directly into timber framing or custom joinery. Homeowners have full design freedom to finish the surround wall in any material they choose—including premium stone or timber—and can safely mount a television directly above the clean, minimal frame to create a streamlined multimedia wall.
The unit functions as an efficient room heater, offering adjustable heat outputs of 1.5kW or 3kW to easily warm contemporary spaces. For flexible use throughout the year, a flame-only mode allows the mesmerizing light display to run independently of the heating element, providing a cool, ambient centerpiece during warmer seasons. The entire system is managed via the Escea SmartHeat smartphone app or a slimline touchscreen remote control, allowing you to cycle through multiple distinct flame styles, program operational timers, and adjust the built-in thermostat, while cool-touch safety glass protects children and pets.
